Womanmade Exhibit

Juried, collaborative exhibit produced by the Leesburg Center for the Arts, Lake County Museum of Art and Mount Dora Center for the Arts showcasing the talents of women artists throughout Florida. Opening Receptions are March 6th, 2020 6:30-8:30 PM at Lessburg Center for the Arts; March 13th 6-8 PM at Mount Dora Center for the Arts; March 27th 6-8 PM at Lake County Museum of Art.

Who Can Apply: Any female artist residing in the state of Florida

Application Fee: $25 (fee to be paid before submitting your application)

Application Deadline: November 1, 2019

Notice of Acceptance: November 30, 2019

The Leesburg Center for the Arts (CFA) invites artists to participate in monthly exhibits which feature a variety of subjects, media, and styles. Themes are announced several months prior to the exhibit deadlines. To learn more about our past and upcoming shows please visit our Exhibits page.

We encourage artists whose work has been accepted for an exhibition to join us for the Exhibit Opening Reception and Meet the Artist, held on the first Friday of the first month of the exhibition from 6:30 p.m. - 8:00pm.



43rd Annual Leesburg Art Fest


Join more than 15,000 art enthusiasts, collectors and serious buyers in attendance, March 14 &15, 2020, for extraordinary collections in downtown Leesburg. 90 artists are selected to participate by jury; open to all media artists, with Cash Prizes and Awards.

Primary Jury deadline is set for December 1, 2019.

Booth Fees affordably range from $175 for a 11' by 11' single space and $200 for a 11' by 11' corner space.

LeesBurg Night Market & Art Walk

Every 1st and 3rd Friday of the month local artists, artisans, crafters, growers and makers pop up in downtown Leesburg to sell their art, creations and designs at Leesburg’s Night Market!  Call for LOCAL Artists, Artisans, Crafters, Growers and Makers! Applications are available on the link below. The Night Market coincides with our monthly meet the artist reception held at the Leesburg Center for the Arts. Support local!

Mural-Center Street

The Leesburg Center the Arts, the City of Leesburg and Duke Energy have partnered to make visual improvements to the 14th St. and Center St., intersection. We are offering an opportunity for an artist or team of artists (using the singular term “artist” herein) to submit responses to the call for artists relating to the design, fabrication, and installation of a unique, site specific exterior mural work of art. This mural will be viewed daily by citizens, and visitors.

Career as well as emerging artist and artist-teams with prior experience working in a media suitable for outdoor murals are invited to respond to the call for artists. Apply here!

Little/Big Print, is coming to Leesburg Center for the Arts

Relief printmaking using a steamroller! Deadline to register is January 15th.

Lead instructor: Jennifer Harper, Printmaker @ Harper Printmaking Studio-Limit of 15 participants

The Little BIG Print is a 6-week project that starts January 21st with a HOW-TO Carving Workshop presented by instructor Jennifer Harper and concludes on March 9th with printing your carving using a Steamroller i.e. the Little BIG Print Steamroller event. Experience the process of BIG print by carving your own or making a collagraphic plate in 2’x3x or 2’x2’size then printing your carving on paper and fabric with a steamroller. Read more….

The Leesburg Center for the Arts (LCFA) invites artists to apply to exhibit at the Lake Square Mall located in Leesburg. Several themes exhibits are scheduled for the upcoming year including “No Dead Artists” debuting November 2018 and “A New Beginning” happening in March 2019. Each exhibit features a variety of subjects, media, and styles . We are accepting submissions both “No Dead Artists” and “A New Beginning”.
